It's been a while since I've last written here, which is somewhat of a pity, but also the result of working nonstop for the past few months. It's not that I literally didn't have a few minutes to spare, but rather when I'm focused on working, my public writing part of the brain shuts down. It's only now reopened for business.
The good news is; I'm finally finished. What started out as a short movie, turned into an illustrated book. While I still have ambitions to make a short movie, I realized a few months ago that I didn't have enough time, or means to properly make a movie, especially without taking a couple years.
Since I had originally created all the assets to a 3D short movie, I decided to render out pictures and then retouch them to give them a painted look. I think it has a nice unique look, without looking foreign.
The story is entitled "Finding The Chance" and will hopefully be available to purchase in the next few days. When it is, I'll set up a page for it. It will be available from two places, Amazon, and the company that it's being printed through, CreateSpace.
Perhaps on a later date, I'll give some more technical descriptions of the process of writing, illustrating and then laying out a picture book. Until then... Have a great day.
Incidentally, the picture from my previous post is the same 3D room as the picture in this post, just given different wall texture, and made to look painted. Cool Huh!
